Because the fees and interests I'm being charged tops the money I'll be saving with REI. REI you did a shitty job picking bank for us. I'm not blaming Capital One for this one, but I'm just saying I don't have a luck with them. Oh also I got 2 oversea fraudulent charges too which Capital One reimbursed me. So I called again, but this time this person's English is good, but he just circled around telling me this interest is from June. I just don't get how can I being charged interest when I literally just made a CURRENT balance payment of 57.54 on Aug 19. Then it's Sept, I got charged again for 0.08 interest. It's especially attractive for Android users but works on iOS and the web, too. It is whatever, so I sucked it up and paid the late fee and the interest. A well-designed, feature-complete app offering in-store, online, and person-to-person payments. So I hung up and called 2 more times, still don't understand the accent. And what's even worse is that when I called I couldn't understand their accent. And I absolutely don't even know how that happened because I paid off the current balance at a U.S Bank branch a few days before they transferred me to Capital One.

Ever since REI transferred us from U.S Bank to Capital One, I've been charged ALL KINDS of fees! Which have never happened to me when I was with U.S Bank.ĭay one after being transferred from U.S bank to Capital One I got charged for a $28 late fee, and $0.74 interest.
